My grandma passed away a few weeks ago and our family was having an extremely difficult time finding a funeral home and setting up arrangements. Everywhere we looked was way overpriced or so bad in appearance and upkeep that it was an immediate no from the moment we walked through the door. Cemetery where my grandma already had a plot wanted to charge us an absolute fortune for opening and closing and for this ugly looking headstone which we didn't have much of a choice on. We were at the point where we were going direct burial because it was all we could afford. Then we found Jowett. Alan and Teri got us a beautiful casket and the funeral home was beautiful and well kept. We had a nice 3 hour visitation and a service by a clergy they found for us. Buried grandma at a nice cemetery for an affordable rate that they found for us. We have a wonderful headstone that we were able to customize and design for an affordable price. On top of that they covered the full cost and allowed us to lump everything into one bill with an affordable finance plan. Thanks to Alan and Teri over at Jowett we were able to give my grandmother the send off she deserved and not just one that we could afford. My family is very fortunate to have found this place. Thank you Alan and Teri. This honestly meant the world to my family and myself.

Alan and Terry, along with the rest of the funeral home staff, went above and beyond to help my family during one of the hardest times of our life. From the time we called from out of state in Florida, Jowett Funeral Home was with us every step of the way. The funeral for my mother was beautiful and classy. The reception center with the dinner was absolutely wonderful, with room for all 130 of my mother's closest family and friends. This tribute to my mother would not have been the same with any other funeral home.

One of the hardest moments in a persons life is when a spouse or a family member passes away. All the arrangements and decisions you have to make are mind boggling and you’re in need of good funeral home with the expertise and knowledge to help you through this difficult time in your life. We were fortunate enough to have the guidance of the Jowett Funeral Home. Al Jowett was the person we needed. His compassion, sincerity and honesty in handling all the arrangements was very comforting to Vicki, as well as the entire family. His recommendations were spot on. I definitely would recommend this establishment, 5+ stars.. Everyone here was so amazing and they made it all very easy when my dad passed.. I had no idea what I was supposed to do really, everyone that I dealt with, made this very difficult time easy and were very caring.. I will definitely be using Jowett Funeral Home again if/when needed.. The staff is just so caring and professional..with all of this happening during pandemic, all the staff remained calm and very helpful and did a beautiful job with my dad.. thank you to the staff for everything with my dad..

Twice I have had the honor to arrange a funeral for someone I love dearly, my mother Pamela Jean Stommel(January 2019)and my father Robert Carl Radatz III(August 2012). Each time it was sudden and unexpected. Being their only child it was my responsibility to make arrangements while I was still trying to process their loss, not easy. On both occasions I turned to Alan and Terri for their guidance and will be forever greatful to them both for the excellent guidance I received. They took care of not only my needs but my entire families as well, constantly checking and chatting with everyone helping them through the entire time. If you want knowledge about every aspect of arrangements/laws they are the professionals to go to, this is their job and they know it well. However if you are looking for a place to treat your loved one as family, the Jowett staff will provide great peace to your entire family. It is a huge comfort knowing your loved one and all who come to say goodbye are treated with care and respect. It is a piece of mind you can not buy. It can only be provided by loving and caring people like Alan, Terri and their entire staff. This Funeral home is the best I would never trust Anyone Else to Touch my family members. Tiffany was so sweet and nice, and so helpful. She understands how hard it is to loose a loved one and was more then willing to help us with Any and Everything. Throughout the whole process from the day he died to Now she has been so professional and even gave us contact info so if we had questions . I cannot thank Alan, Terri and their staff for everything during this very difficult time. We delivered flowers to ALL the funeral homes in the PH area before moving to California. You can tell from behind the scenes who is genuinely kind and helpful and whose sweetness is merely saccharine. NEVER an unkind word from Jowett. They are the one to use. When my husband died we immediately called Jowett. Talk about a place that goes above and beyond the call of duty!!! Absolutely love these folks.

Our family wants to express our profound appreciation for all of the efforts put into making our Dad, Martin Crimmins, funeral visitation and funeral service a perfect event. Every single person there was kind and caring and we felt we were in good hands with all the details. From holy cards to obituaries, death certificates, making Dad look really good, to the friendliness of staff when you walk in the door, cremation services, upcoming Veterans ceremony, and to the beautiful CD of Dad's pictures. The funeral home itself is peaceful and it was nice to have the place to ourselves. Alan, thank your for the casket upgrade and the extra day of obit in the paper. You were a pleasure to work with. And, you should be proud of your staff. During visitation, I asked one of the girls if she had extra Times Herald papers so I could have an obit of Dad, and she told me the Times Herald doesn't do that anymore. But, she went above and beyond, and left the funeral home and went down the block and got me a newspaper. That was just what I found at Jowett's - people going above and beyond. All of this was very comforting to us. The service went off without a hitch, and even though Dad is gone, we know the funeral arrangements would have met his stamp of approval.
