Joseph Bernard Duane Lambert May 16, 1951 – September 15, 2025 Joseph “Joe” Lambert, of Carsonville, Michigan, passed away peacefully in his home on September 15, 2025, at the age of 74. Born on May 16, 1951, and raised in Carsonville, Joe lived a life full of adventure, love, and devotion to his family. Joe is survived by his brothers Julian Groulx (Jean), Joey Groulx (Mary), William Shuman Jr. (Lucy), and his sister Lydia Shuman. He will be forever cherished by his children Debora Pawlowski(James) Angela Gubrud (Kevin), Nathaniel Lambert, Joseph W. Lambert, Justin Lambert, Devin Lambert, Daniel Brennan, Denise Brennan, Chance Lambert (Katie), and Kayla Lambert (Mike). His legacy continues through his beloved grandchildren Kenneth Pawlowski, Kyle Pawlowski, Kristen Twardosz, Erica Macias, Jessica Crosby, Steven (Tyler) Sturgill Jr., Gary Sturgill, Kevin Gubrud Jr., Nicole Gubrud, Jai Jai Lambert, Alec Parren, Katelyn Parren, Jessica Parren, Hailey Lambert, Rosalea Lambert, Preslie Lambert, Logan Lambert, Zackary Lambert, Maddilynn Lambert, and Ashlynn Ingram, along with 30 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Many nieces and nephews, along side multiple great nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his brothers Francis Lambert, David Groulx (Linda), Alexander Lambert (Molly), sisters Agnes Marks (Arlen) and Amelia Castillo, his daughter Dawn, and his grandson Michael Ingram. Joe was a man who lived for family—he was the glue that held everyone together. A true free spirit, he loved to travel, never hesitating to pack a bag and "hit the road". He was a veteran who served his country during the Vietnam War, a devoted father and grandfather who lit up every sideline cheering on his children and grandchildren, and a man whose bright sky-blue eyes and radiant smile left an unforgettable mark on everyone who knew him. From his hippie soul to his generous heart, Joe was loved by many and loved even harder in return. His family will forever remember his adventurous spirit, his unwavering encouragement, and his famous words: “I lived my life my way—and it was a good one.” As Joe would often remind us all: “Do everything with love.” – 1 Corinthians 16:14 Services will be private.
