Jacqueline Ann “Jackie” Sparks, of Port Huron, daughter of Captain John Allen Miller of Saint Clair, MI went home to her Lord and Savior at the age of 95 years, 8 months and 8 days. Jackie was born and raised in Saint Clair Michigan. She was in the class of 1945 of Saint Clair High School. Jackie lived a long and full life; she loved playing cards, boating, snow mobiling, gardening, bingo, birding and the outdoors. She had the greenest thumb around, able to grow and return life to all the plants she cared for. Her yard was a gardener’s dream, beautiful and full of flowers. She retired from Riverside Metal Products after 30 plus years of service. She transported auto parts from Port Huron to Detroit by semi-tractor and trailer. Something she was proud of, achieving a chauffeur license to do so. After retirement she volunteered at Port Huron Hospital in the Central Sterile Service Department and the Pre-Operative Department. Jackie had a strong faith and was a member of Faith Lutheran Church in Port Huron, MI. In addition to her strong faith, she was an animal lover. Through her lifetime she adopted many cats and dogs from the Humane Society, took in strays and cared for her backyard buddies; squirrels, chipmunks and birds. Jackie is survived by her two sons and daughter; David (Vicki) Krenke of Palestine, IL, Gregory (Bobbie) Krenke of Dothan, AL and Wendy (David) Pillon of Fort Gratiot, MI, daughter-in-law Marsha Schambre ofMarysville, MI, sister Thelma “Tommie” (Bill) Goodwin of Bradenton, FL and brother Frederick “Fred” Miller of Saint Clair, MI. Grandchildren; Stephanie (Shawn) Warn of Port Huron, MI, Scott (Heather) Krenke of Clover, SC, Holly Ciccarelli of Cumming, GA, Steven (Kristin) Pillon of Port Huron, MI, Jason (Tammy) Sparks of Ruby, MI, Jennifer (Matt) Martin of Marysville, MI and Jeremy (Amanda) Sparks of Traverse City, MI. Jackie is also survived by several nieces, nephews and great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by son John “Johnny” Krenke, brother John Miller, sister Marilyn Blakie, mother and father Captain John and Captain Thelma Miller and dear friend Margaret “Maggie” Young. Jackie will be deeply missed by her daughter Wendy, son David, granddaughter Stephanie, son-in-law David and special caregiver Paula. Her sweet smile, sense of humor and tender touch is something that can never be replaced. A private service will take place at a later date.
