Charlene E. Pitrucelle

Charlene E. Pitrucelle, age 75, of Clay, Michigan passed away on November 29, 2023. Charlene was born to James Richard Lanvers and Lillian Lanvers, on October 9, 1948 in Detroit, Michigan. She was the oldest of four children and graduated from Algonac High School in 1966 and from Central Michigan University in 1972. In loving memory of Charlene Pitrucelle, a devoted wife and mother, cherished educator, family matriarch and an extraordinary individual. Charlene left an indelible mark on the hearts of those who knew her. With a career spanning over 30 years in elementary education, she touched countless lives, imparting knowledge and kindness to generations of young minds. Charlene was married for nearly 48 years to the love of her life, Leonard. They had an unshakeable bond. Her love for family was the cornerstone of her existence. Charlene embraced the role of a nurturing and supportive mother with unmatched warmth. She was always willing to provide a helping hand to anyone and treated everyone as if they were family. Family gatherings were moments that Charlene cherished. The memories made of joy, laughter, and love will live on forever with those who loved her. As an educator, Charlene was not merely a teacher but a beacon of inspiration. Her passion for learning and genuine care for her students went beyond the classroom. It wouldn’t be uncommon for her to attend many extracurricular events for her students after school to be sure each student knew she was always there for them. Many remember her as the guiding force that instilled in them confidence and a love for learning. A wonderful person in every sense, Charlene radiated positivity and compassion. Her kindness extended beyond her immediate circle, leaving an enduring impact on the community she served and the friendships she cultivated. Though she is no longer with us, Charlene leaves behind a legacy of love, wisdom, and the enduring spirit of family. In our hearts, her memory will forever be a source of comfort and inspiration. Charlene is survived by her children, Jonathan (Erin) and Kimberly (Jes), grandchildren, Sadie and Della, brother, Bill (Stephanie), as well as many loving nieces, nephews and extended family. Charlene was preceded in death by the love of her life, Leonard, her mother, Lillian and father, James, her brothers; Ralph and Jim (Roberta) and nephew, David.
