Sonya E. Miller Vanbuskirk Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

On Saturday, June 25th, 2022, Sonya Elaine Miller-VanBuskirk graduated to Heaven. She was born to parents Delmas William Miller Sr. and Laura May Schatzline on July 21st, 1971 in Kissimmee, Florida. She is preceded in death by her Mother Laura Schatzline. She is survived by her father, Delmas Miller Sr., siblings, Teresa Parker, Delmas Miller Jr. and Kimberly Miller, children, Dakotah Miller, Dylan Miller, Jared VanBuskirk, Weston Miller, Jermey VanBuskirk, daughter-in-law,Ann Yoder, daughter-in-law, Amber Miller and grandchildren, Melody Miller, Wade Miller, Owen Miller. Sonya worked at H&R Block for 23 years where she developed many relationships with people who she would call her “Chickies” and developed sister-like bonds. These people include Tina, Kari, Sue, Kathy, and Jen. She loved her children and grandkids and was always forgiving and compassionate to everyone she knew. She invested her life to the wellbeing of others. She also loved having cookouts and sitting around bonfires and coming together to play card games. She will be greatly missed by everyone who knew her. Graveside Service held on July 7th at 11:00am at Lakeside Cemetery and officiated by Pastor James Jones. Her Celebration of Life will be held on July 9th @ 6pm- everyone is welcome to attend at 3005 Darwin Court in Port Huron.
