Raymond Woods

September 8, 1938 - January 20, 2022

Raymond "Butch" Woods was born September 8, 1938, in Croswell, Michigan to Ray and Tillie (Adams) Woods, passed away peacefully at home Thursday, January 20, 2022. Butch married the love of his life Janice Marie (Nichol), April 2, 1961. Together they had two children Robin (Bill) Lee and Rick (Staci) Woods, they also had two grandchildren Ryan Lee and Ashley (Christopher) Leeth. Butch also has a very special extended family, Arvella Hobson and the Phil and Marilyn Levitte family. Butch enjoyed being a member of the Sanilac County Sheriff's Pose. Butch worked for the Sanilac County Road Commission for 30 years, until he retired in 1999, to spend time with his wife. Butch enjoyed his horses, fishing, hunting on the farm and spending time with his family. A celebration of life will be planned for later this year.
