Phillip R. Moran Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Phillip Roy Moran, son of the late Irvin and Margaret Moran, was born on June 6, 1947 in Detroit, Michigan. Phillip had 3 brothers the late Allen and Clyde Moran, his late sister Aubrey and brother to Arnold. Phillip was married to the late Deborah Moran, who preceded him in death in February of 2022. Phil and Debbie shared two dogs; Teddy and Bear, and a lifetime of love and friendship. Phillip has 3 sons, Jeffrey (Kimberly) Moran, James (Hanife) Moran, and Brian Moran (Heather) ; 8 grandchildren; Anthony, Katlyn, Patrick, Nicholas, Eliana, Kayla, Brian Jr, Madison and 6 step grandchildren; Adnan, Tiffany, Alexis, Ryan, Ella and Joshua; and 3 Great Grandchildren, Demetruis Jr., Arreyna and Liam. Phillip (Phil) passed away on June 25, 2022 at St John Hospital in Detroit, Michigan. He was 75 years young. Phil was a Master Pipefitter and leader for 27 plus years for General Motors (Tech Plaza Warren, Michigan) before retiring. Phil was a kind and loving Father to his 3 boys and a wonderful grand/great grandfather to his grand/great grandchildren, his Daughter-in-laws and to his 2 dogs that he loved dearly as well as a host of other family and friends. Phil loved to fish and be by the water weather it at the local pier, out on his son Jeff's boat or his son Brian's lake. He also loved to play guitar and had made a couple records. Phil was an amazing and kind man and will be dearly and greatly missed by all. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Arrangements in care of Jowett Funeral Home - New Haven.
