Nathan W. "Nate" Dake Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Nathan W. “Nate” Dake, age 20 of Port Huron, passed away on July 17, 2022, unexpectedly. He was born on May 30, 2002 in Port Huron. Nate was an extraordinary person. He loved many things from wrestling, baseball, boxing, video games with friends, horror movies, and fashion. Nate was constantly changing his look and loved getting new tattoos and high-end clothing. Nate was also an avid horror memorabilia collector. Most importantly, he loved music. He was a self-taught guitarist and a skilled music producer. Nate was an old soul, even though his appearance was constantly changing, his love for music never left. He is survived by his parents, Deana and Wendell Dake, sister, Natalee Dake, grandmother, Rosalina Sisk, aunts and uncles, Frank (Lonni) Taravella, Leana (Anthony) Cox, Anna Taravella (Benito), Chris Sisk, LeeAnn White and Lisa (Brian) Renno along with his best friend, Steve and many cousins and friends. Nate was preceded in death by his grandparents, Larry Sisk, Anita Dake and Wendell Dake Sr. Funeral services will be 12:00pm Friday, July 22, 2022 in the Jowett Funeral Home, 1634 Lapeer Avenue, Port Huron. Minister Shaun Laurain will officiate. Visiting hours will be Thursday, 4:00pm to 8:00pm and Friday, an hour prior to services. There will be a luncheon following services on Friday, at the American Legion Post #8, 1026 6th Street, Port Huron. Memorial tributes may be made to the wishes of the family.
