John James White Jr. (Jack), age 73 of Marlette, passed away on June 28, 2022. He was born in Buffalo, New York on December 16, 1948. He was the first-born child of John James White Sr. (Jack) and Dorothy White. The family moved to Detroit Michigan when Jack was a young boy. He was raised in St Martin Community in the Jefferson Chalmers area. As a young adult Jack built his own catamaran boat, he had amazing skills at art and poetry. He went to the University of Michigan to study to become a draftsman. He was super intelligent and balanced it off with his love of humor. He made people laugh. He made himself laugh. Daily. He lived in the Marlette Mi area for the past forty or so years. He loved the town and the people of Marlette. Jack was an avid walker. A spreader of joy along the way. Hello to his family Tina and the Conquest family and housemates there. Jack lived his life with dignity, honor and respect. Always a gentleman. A lovely kind-hearted soul who had no harsh thoughts or words in his vocabulary. He Boomeranged the love he received. Thank you to John O’brien for years of sharing kind words through postcards with your cousin Jack. Thank you, John Giacalone, for being more than a brother-in-law to Jack. Your friendship with Jack is a treasure. He will be reunited with God in Heaven and be greeted by his earthly father John James White Sr., his brother Tom White and his sister Marilyn White.
