Jack Carroll Dillon II, age 76, of Marysville, passed away on November 25, 2021, after a brief illness, in Florida, with his wife by his side. He was born on September 15, 1945, Logan, West Virginia, to the late Jack and Molly Dillon. He married Sharon L. Barrett on July 31, 1965, in Port Huron. Jack served honorably in the United State Coast Guard. Jack and Sharon moved to Florida, where he worked at his father’s service station, and then worked in the grocery business. In 2005, Jack and Sharon moved back to Port Huron, where they became business owners of Paumac Tubing, with his brother-in-law and sister-in-law. Jack enjoyed restoring classic cars, and received several awards, for his restoration work. He enjoyed going to and participating in classic car shows. He is survived by his wife, Sharon Dillon, sister, Peggy (Wayne) Wafford, sisters-in-law; Deb (Norm) MacDonald, Karen (William) Brenner, brother-in-law, Charlie (Debra) Stroh, his mother-in-law, Audrey Hoffman, nephews; Jason Brooks, Greg Prince, Paul (Jessica) Brenner and Jay Brenner, nieces; Michelle Simpson, Ella Edwards, Tammy (Mike) Prince-Crevier, Brinkley Simpson and Teresa Stroh. Also survived by his extended family, Barbara Reppart, and her children, Danielle Reppart and Jake Reppart. Jack was preceded in death by his beloved son, Tony Dillon, sister, Patty Prince, nephew, Paul Crouch and his father-in-law, Jack Hoffman. A memorial service will be 1:00pm Tuesday, April 26, 2022, in the Jowett Funeral Home, 1634 Lapeer Avenue, Port Huron. Reverend Max Amstutz will officiate. Burial to take place in Lakeside Cemetery, Port Huron. Visiting hours will be 11:00am until the time of service at 1:00pm in the funeral home. Memorial tributes may be made to the Blue Water Area Humane Society. There will be a luncheon following services in the Jowett Funeral Home Reception Center.
