Elsie "Chris" Peters

Elsie “Chris” Peters, age 78 of St. Clair, passed away on May 8, 2022. She was born on May 24, 1943 in Marine City to the late Walter and Mabel Jones. Elsie married Harold W. Peters on March 1, 1969 in Las Vegas. He preceded her in death on September 2, 2016. She loved playing cards, spending time with her family, golf, bowling and watching movies with her snuggie blanket. Elsie also enjoyed having lunch with her family and going to the casino. She had a bright and happy personality and always said that humor could cure anything. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Elsie is survived by her sister, Dorothy Thomas; children, Dianne (Aaron) Wick and Mark (Kami) Peters; grandchildren, Micheal (Nikki), Kailey (Kyle) and Ella; great grandchildren, Landon and Arianna. She was preceded in death by her sister and brother-in-law, Alice (Ken), and brother-in-law, Vincent Thomas. A celebration of Elsie’s life will take place on Monday, May 16, 2022 from 4:00pm to 7:00pm at the Voyageur Restaurant, 525 South Riverside Avenue, St. Clair.
