Edward Stebner

July 15, 1938 - November 25, 2021

Edward J. Stebner, age 83, of Ray Township breathed his last breath on Earth and first breath in Heaven on November 25, 2021 – Thanksgiving Day. Ed was born on July 15, 1938 in Detroit, Michigan. He was the son of the late Adolph and Grace Stebner and was a sibling to his late brother and sister, Theodore (surviving spouse, Delphine) and Carol. He married the love of his life, surviving spouse, Patricia Ann Lochirco on September 5, 1959. Their 62nd anniversary was recently celebrated. He will be greatly missed by his three children: Jeffrey (Terri), Randolph (Mari), and Christina; his four grandchildren, Chris, Mitchell, Ryan and Adora; and many more close relatives and friends. Ed had many passions in life that centered around his family and the great outdoors. He loved Northern Michigan, Door County, Wisconsin, and the tropical shores of the Gulf of Mexico in Florida. Thanks to Ed’s generous heart and his willingness to share, many cherished memories were formed. Ed had a long and prosperous career as a steam/pipefitter. He was an avid golfer, enjoyed his boats, devoted his time as a Commander of the Coast Guard Auxiliary in Florida, and was a proud veteran of the United States Army. We will always remember his sparkling blue eyes and keen intelligence. Ed will be sorely grieved by all who knew and loved him. See ya on the golf course, Ed! Church service will be held on Saturday, December 18, 2021 at 11:00am at St. Peter Lutheran Church & School, 17051 24 Mile Road, Macomb 48042. Visiting will be from 10:00am until time of service, followed by a Military Honor & Tribute at Resurrection Cemetery, 18201 Clinton River Road, Clinton Township 48038 where Ed will be laid to rest. Arrangements entrusted to Jowett Funeral Home - New Haven.
