Dennis R. “Snoopy” Lammertz Jr., age 54, of Port Huron, passed away on December 17, 2021. He was born on December 31, 1966. He was the owner/operator of Lammertz Welding. Dennis was known as a “man of many trades”. He also served honorably in the United States Navy. Dennis enjoyed riding his Harley with friends, camping, loved dancing, playing with his grandchildren and spoiling his cat “meow meow”. He is survived by his wife, Catherine Lammertz; mother, Suzanne Lammertz of Florida; sister, Tammy (Shaun) McNeill of Texas; children; Amanda Irwin of Alaska, Jonathan Smith of Colorado and Taylor Lammertz of Michigan; stepchildren; Heather (Joey) Marenich, Tiffani (Cory) Whitcomb, and Ashley Tarzwell; 10 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild; very special friend/brother, Michael Condland. Dennis was preceded in death by his father, Dennis Ronald Lammertz Sr. Memorial tributes can be made to wishes of the family. A celebration of life will be at a later date.
