Brenda Lee McCracken

Brenda L. McCracken, age 57, of Sterling Heights, passed away on January 18, 2022, after battling Huntington's Disease. She was born on September 8, 1964, in Winston Salem, North Carolina. Brenda enjoyed doing arts and crafts, playing bingo, and loved cigarettes and chocolates. She enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren. She is survived by her 5 children; Carrie McCracken, Tarrya (Steven) McElhiney, Christopher (Amanda Sterrett) Telesz, Jennifer Telesz and Nicole Telesz, grandchildren; Anthony Bezdziecki, Kylee Bezdziecki, Jenna Bezdziecki, Naleah Butler, Tommy Butler, Angelo Mazzola, Rayna McElhiney, Alyssa McElhiney, Braylon Telesz, Brianna Brown, Branden Brown, Nayshawn Pitts, and Nevaeh Pitts, great grandchildren; Jade McCracken and Jayce McCray, father, Jimmie McCracken, siblings; Tracey Totty, Jimmie McCracken Jr., April Smith, Christine McCracken, Diane McCracken and Kelly McCracken, along with several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother, Nancy London and son-in-law, Tommy Butler. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 29, 2022, at 11:00am in the Zion Temple in Jesus Church - 216 Court St., Mt. Clemens, with family hour starting at 10:00am. Pastor John O'Neal will officiate. Visiting will be Friday, January 28, 2022 from 3:00pm until 7:00pm in the Jowett Funeral Home - 57737 Gratiot, New Haven.
