William M. "Bill" Alexander

William M. “Bill” Alexander left this earth on October 11, 2025, with his daughters by his side, after a short but dramatic illness in true Bill fashion. We have been telling him for years to just ask us to visit…no need for the emergency surgeries, but... (PSA: see your cardiologist regularly). He was preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Hazel (Kinser) Alexander, his sisters Sharon Schieman and Kay Zuehlke, and his identical triplet brothers Wes and Jim Alexander. He is survived by his wife, Joyce (Green) Alexander; his daughters Angela (Chris) Lacek and Robin (Rae) Alexander; his stepchildren Danny, Dana, and Danon Sandoval; 7 grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren. Born on March 9, 1949, Bill embodied the spirit of independence from the very beginning. A proud defender of the US Constitution, Bill served in the Marine Corps and spent his life advocating for the Second Amendment, motorcycle helmet laws, and local civics (perhaps you have read one of his strongly worded “Letters to the Editor”…). He could quote the Bill of Rights as fast as he could fire off a dad joke. He loved scuba diving, was an avid motorcyclist, antique camera enthusiast, and he was highly skilled at building model freighter replicas. Additionally, he was a keyboard warrior of the highest regard, excelling at internet trolling. His proudest moments, outside his family, were the numerous times he was banned by YouTube and Facebook. Growing up as one of the Alexander Triplets, Bill’s childhood was filled with photos shoots, newspaper articles, and lots of shenanigans. He loved to tell stories about their childhood adventures that were equal parts hilarious and colorful. They had lots of fights, lots of girlfriends, and an incredible bond that stood the test of time. At a later date, Bill will be interred at Lakeside Cemetery with his brothers…they came into this world together, tore it up for a time together, and they will rest in peace together in the end. We will have a Celebration of Life on Friday October 17th at one of his favorite haunts, the VFW at 1711 Pine Grove Ave in Port Huron Michigan from 6-9pm.
