Robert M. McIntyre

Robert M. McIntyre, of Port Huron Township, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and devout Christian, went home to be with the Lord on April 14, 2024. He was 74 years old. Robert, or Bob as he was well known, was born in Port Huron, MI. He retired from Ford Motor Company. Bob had a deep commitment to serving others. He had a passion for helping the youth and dedicated his time in volunteer service at the Spero Pregnancy Center. He was also very involved with the children’s ministry at Cross Current Church. Bob was known for his kind heart and gentle demeanor, always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need. He was always sure to bring a smile or laughter to those around. He cherished time spent with his family and friends, creating countless memories and leaving a legacy of love and laughter. Bob is survived by his loving wife Teri S. McIntyre (McGuffin), his children Paul C. McIntyre, Amy L. (Richard) Sanchez, Jenny S. McIntyre, Susan M. (Rudolph) Bottone, Laura A. (Tod) Soop, Nathan R. McIntyre, Stephanie L. McIntyre, Robert J. McIntyre, Kristen R. Horton, Shannon L. Babcook; 11 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren; sisters Mary M. Sweet, Janet E. Howe and Ann M. McIntyre; who will all forever hold him dear in their hearts. He will be greatly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. He was preceded in death by his parents, Angus A. and Anna C. McIntyre, his late wife, Sally K., daughters Tammy A. and Emily J., sister Nancy A. and brother Angus A. Jr. A Celebration of Bob’s Life and viewing will be held in Cross Current Church - 1641 Garfield St., Port Huron on Friday - April 19, 2024 at 12:00pm (noon). Pastor Mark Wargo will officiate. Burial will follow at Ruby Cemetery. The visitation will be on Thursday - April 18, 2024 in the Jowett Funeral Home - 1634 Lapeer Ave., Port Huron, from 4:00pm until 8:00pm and again on Friday from 11:00am until time of service at 12:00pm (noon) at church. Pallbearers will be his sons; Nathan and Robert and grandsons; Michael, Corey, Mikey and Cody. There will be a luncheon following the service at the church. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to - Cross Current Kids Zone.
