Martha Mary Ruffino

Martha, a beloved wife, devoted caregiver, loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away on September 6, 2026 at the age of 71. She will be remembered for the unconditional love she gave her family, her selfless nature, and the strength and comfort she brought to those around her. Martha shared a loving and devoted relationship with her husband, John Ruffino, beginning on April 5, 2002. John and Martha first met while John was working. After meeting Martha, John learned where she worked and applied for a job there so he could be closer to her. Their relationship grew into a lasting partnership filled with love and devotion. Throughout the years, Martha became John's dedicated caregiver, giving tirelessly of herself to make sure he received the care and support he needed. She provided him with far more than daily care—she gave him companionship, strength, comfort, and unconditional love. Her devotion to John was a true reflection of the kind of person Martha was caring, loyal, and always willing to put the people she loved before herself. Martha leaves behind her three sons and their families: Shane and Jennifer Crothers, Joseph and Tara Crothers, and Ralph David and Kimberly Crothers; as well as her stepson, Christopher Ruffino and Amanda Ruffino. She was a proud and loving grandmother to Cherial-Lynn, Samantha, William, Christopher, Anna, Kyra, Kaley, Mathew, Alexis, Amanda, Kamryn, Baylee, Adalyn, and Lylla. She was also blessed with great-grandchildren Izabella, Benny, Christopher, Camryn, Adelita, and Weston. Martha also leaves behind her brothers-in-law and their families, Mark and Margarette Ruffino, Brian and Michelle Ruffino. Martha found joy in many of life's simple pleasures, including shopping, cooking, baking for her grandchildren, playing bingo, and enjoying card games. However, nothing brought her greater happiness than being a mother. Her three sons were truly the light of her life and one of her greatest sources of pride and happiness. Martha devoted herself wholeheartedly to caring for them and remained their biggest supporter and fiercest protector throughout her life. To Martha, her boys could do no wrong, and she never missed an opportunity to tell them how proud she was of them. Her love for her sons was unconditional and unwavering, and some of her most cherished moments were those when all three of her boys were together. Martha loved without measure and remained devoted to her family until the very end. Her life was defined by the love she gave so freely, the strength she provided during difficult times, and the countless memories she created with those closest to her. She will be deeply loved, greatly missed, and forever remembered. She was not only a mother, wife, grandmother, great-grandmother, and caregiver, but also a source of love, strength, and comfort to her family. Her love will live on through everyone whose life she touched, and her family will carry her memory with them always. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
