Marjorie A. Andreae

Marjorie Sheridan Andreae of Fort Gratiot, passed away November 3, 2024, at the age of 92 in Marysville, Michigan. Born on December 7, 1931, in Peck, Michigan. Marjorie dedicated her life to creativity and love, evident in every aspect of her nature. A graduate of Adrian Academy, Marjorie furthered her education at Mercy College and Michigan State University. Her passion for creativity was also her vocation; she was the proud owner of Andreae Fashion Fabrics, where her flair for design brought beauty to the community and beyond. Her past times included sewing, drawing, and playing board games, activities that allowed Marjorie to express her artistic talents and enjoy time with her loved ones. She was a member of Holy Trinity Parish - St. Stephen Catholic Church and received the sacrament of Last Rites. A ceremonial mass will be held at the church in June 2025 at St. Stephen Catholic Church with the time to be announced. Marjorie leaves a legacy through her daughters, Carol Nickles, Patty (Craig) Lawrence, Jamie (Pat) Eagen, Jennifer Jowett, Julie Andreae, and Dr. Margie (John Kline) Andreae. She is held dear by her grandchildren, Andre (Joy) Wiegand, Adrienne (Janelle Sterling) Nickles, Gerard Nickles III, Maggie (Tony) Liace, Kyle (Shaki) Lawrence, Patrick (Jamie) Lawrence, Kellie (Tom) Ostrander, Ryan Eagen, Nicholas (Sydney) Jowett, Andrew (Alex) Jowett, Jamie (Nicole) Robinson, Molly (Joshua) Greer, Caleb (Dr. Sarah Allexan) Kline, Lydia Kline, Hannah Kline, Elijah (Kate) Kline, 28 great-grandchildren and many beloved nieces and nephews. She leaves behind a sister, Betty (Gene) Nori, and sister-in-law, Barbara Sheridan. Marjorie was predeceased by her beloved husband, of 56 years, Fred Andreae Jr., granddaughter, Maureen Lawrence, granddaughter-in-law Amy Lawrence, sons-in-laws Gerard Nickles Jr. and Charles Robinson, her parents, Clare and Rhea Sheridan, her siblings Margaret, Dorothy and Bob Sheridan, and Jean Hamilton, in-laws Bert Hamilton, Jim (Janice) Andreae, and Jane (Don) McIntyre. A private family viewing was held at Jowett Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held at Lakeport Cemetery in Burtchville Township on Thursday, November 7, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. Minister Shaun Laurain will officiate. Marjorie's grandsons will serve as pallbearers: Andre' Weigand, Gerard Nickles, Kyle Lawrence, Patrick Lawrence, Ryan Eagan, Nicholas Jowett, Andrew Jowett, Jamie Robinson, Caleb Kline and Elijah Kline.
