Irma E. Budzeak

Irma Ethel Douglass Budzeak December 16,1942 -- August 9, 2026 Irma Ethel Douglass Budzeak, of Fair Haven, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend, passed away peacefully on August 9, 2026, at the age of 83. She was born on December 16, 1942 in Brunswick, Maine. Irma will be lovingly remembered for the love she shared with her family and the many lives she touched throughout the years. Her greatest joy was her family and she cherished the time spent with those she loved. Her memory will live on through the many generations of family she leaves behind. Irma is survived by her loving spouse, Richard, whom she married June 24, 1967 in Mount Clemens, having just celebrated their 59th wedding anniversary, she is also survived by her children; Robert (Peggy) Budzeak, Evie Jeakle, Wendy (Shawn) Ainsworth, Charles (Lynne) Myers, Alan Budzeak, Jeannie Berry and James (Debra) Budzeak: her siblings; Roger (Delores) Douglass and Marla (Larry) Coskery. Irma was preceded in death by her parents: Helen Coskery and Roger Douglass, her siblings; Valerie Sullivan and Lora (Kitch) Kutchenmeister. She was a proud grandmother to Chuck (Beth), Tara, Darryl (Meagan), April, Christeen (Chris), Tabitha, Misty (Kyle), Murray, Amanda, Angela (Kyle), Michael, Jason (Melanie), Brooke (Austin), Robert and Justin, Shelby, Brendan and Kristy. Irma was also blessed with 20 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren, leaving behind a beautiful family legacy that will continue for generations to come. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends. Though she is no longer with us, the love she gave, the memories she created, and the family she cherished will remain forever. Rest peacefully, Irma. You will be loved and remembered forever. A private inurnment for the immediate family will take place, according to family wishes. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday - August 22, 2026 from 12:00pm (noon) until 4:00pm in the New Baltimore Civic Center - 36551 Main Street, New Baltimore. Memorial Tributes may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Cremation arrangements in care of Jowett Funeral Home, 57737 Gratiot, New Haven.
