In Loving Memory of Donald Evan Ross It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Don (Donnie) Ross, age 63 of Fort Gratiot Township on May 14, 2024. He was born on August 27, 1960 in Woodstock, Ontario Canada. Don was the cherished child of the late Darryl Ross and Marian (Cartwright) Ross. He grew up in Woodstock, Ontario, where he cultivated a love for hockey and football. Don attended Western University and in 1994 was chosen to attend the Manufacturing Technology fellowship program in Tokyo Japan for 2 years, which led him to a Quality Manager career in Michigan at US Manufacturing and Dana Corporation. Don was known for his boundless generosity, warm heart, and unwavering commitment to his children and friends and love for the Toronto Maple Leafs, Detroit Lions and Michigan Football - Go Blue!. He also enjoyed golfing. Don will be remembered by loving nieces and nephews who will forever cherish the memories and the indelible mark he left on their lives. His presence touched the lives of many. Don's legacy of love, kindness, and compassion will continue to inspire all who knew him. He will be deeply missed but always remembered. May he rest in peace. He is the beloved father of Alyson Ross, Marley Munoz and Brandon Clarkson. He is also survived by his stepmother, Geraldine Ross, stepsister, Marjorie Ross, along with several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. Don was preceded in death by his loving partner, Ann Marie (Clarkson) Munoz. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 25, 2024 at 11:00am in the Jowett Funeral Home – 1634 Lapeer Ave., Port Huron. Minister Shaun Laurain will officiate. The burial will be in Oxford Memorial Park Cemetery in Woodstock, Ontario. Visiting hours will be Friday, May 24, 2024 from 4:00pm until 8:00pm in the funeral home and again on Saturday, from 10:00am until the time of the service at 11:00am. There will be a luncheon following the service in the Jowett Funeral Home Reception Center. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Jowett Funeral Home is privileged to serve the Ross Family.
